Gwadar Celebrates Independence Day with Cultural Festivities at Girls Degree College

Gwadar: Government Girls Degree College in Gwadar hosted a significant event to celebrate Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, featuring patriotic performances and speeches that emphasized the nation’s history and values.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Government of Balochistan, the event, organized by the college’s principal, Ms. Sabin, and supported by the district administration, was marked by a flag hoisting and the national anthem. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Tabish Ali Baloch, who served as the chief guest, commended the students’ performances which included elocution contests, songs, and tableaus, highlighting the cultural and historical significance of Independence Day. Principal Sabin’s speech underscored the importance of freedom and the ongoing responsibility to cherish and protect it, while ADC Baloch’s remarks reinforced a sense of patriotism among attendees, reminding them of the sacrifices that shaped the nation.
