Health Minister Inspects Mayo Hospital’s Oncology Department

Lahore, During a detailed visit to the Oncology Department of Mayo Hospital, Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq inspected the medical facilities including the radiation machine and chemotherapy center. The visit included interactions with cancer patients and discussions on improving healthcare services in the department.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Minister Rafiq was briefed by CEO Prof. Ahsan Nauman and other faculty members about the services provided to cancer patients. The minister emphasized the importance of the restored radiation facilities, which are expected to aid thousands of cancer patients. He expressed satisfaction with the current facilities and congratulated the hospital administration on the resumption of radiation services.
