Chief Minister Punjab Advocates Linking Forensic Training Labs with Universities

Lahore, During her visit to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) Headquarters, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of connecting forensic training labs with universities. The Chief Minister’s visit included a tour of the facility where she inspected various forensic systems and was briefed on the PFSA’s expansive role in criminal investigations across Pakistan.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister approved plans to centralize the departmental lab under PAFDA and called for the swift activation of the PAFDA project and an evidence center in DG Khan. She also highlighted the opportunity for students in forensic sciences to receive training and internships, strengthening the link between educational institutions and forensic science applications.
