Islamabad: In a landmark initiative for enhancing Pakistan’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education, Mr. Rana Mashood, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, has engaged in crucial discussions at Huawei’s Islamabad office. This collaboration is set to provide advanced ICT training to 300,000 young Pakistanis, integrating global expertise into the national educational framework.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting in Islamabad comes after detailed technical discussions held earlier this month, marking a significant advancement in the partnership between Huawei and the Pakistani government. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s directives to bolster the country’s technical education capabilities through international collaborations.

The program will be implemented in partnership with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme. It aims to leverage Huawei’s cutting-edge training resources to enhance the skill set of Pakistani youth, preparing them for future technological challenges and opportunities. This strategic alliance promises to elevate the quality and accessibility of technical education across Pakistan, fostering innovation and skill development in key ICT sectors.
