Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Denounces Deadly Attack on Dera Ismail Khan Healthcare Facility

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed his condemnation and grief following a terrorist attack on a healthcare center in Dera Ismail Khan, which resulted in the deaths of seven individuals, including women and children. The attack also claimed the lives of two security personnel.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi labeled the attack as an act of “extreme brutality” and highlighted the heinous nature of targeting vulnerable populations such as women and children. He commended the security forces’ response, which resulted in the death of three terrorists involved in the attack. Minister Naqvi assured the public of his commitment to pursuing the perpetrators until justice is served and reiterated the nation’s unified stance against terrorism, emphasizing the substantial sacrifices already made in the fight against such threats. He pledged that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not be in vain, underscoring the government’s determination to eradicate terrorism.
