International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression Commemorated

Islamabad, The International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression was solemnly observed on Tuesday, drawing attention to the severe impact of conflict on children worldwide. This day serves as a crucial reminder of the suffering endured by children who are exposed to various forms of abuse amid global conflicts.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the observance highlights the distress faced by children across the globe, particularly noting the significant toll in regions like Gaza. Since last October, over fifteen thousand children have reportedly lost their lives due to the conflict in Gaza, and thousands more have been deprived of basic necessities such as health, water, food, medicine, and a clean environment.

The day calls for urgent action to protect children in conflict zones and ensure their rights to safety and basic human needs are preserved.
