Joint Pakistan Navy and PMSA Search and Rescue Operation Underway for Fishermen near Hajamro Creek

Islamabad, The Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) are currently conducting a joint search and rescue operation for fishermen following the sinking of their boat near Hajamro Creek.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the fishing vessel Al-Asad, carrying a crew of 45, capsized in the open sea near Hajamro Creek on Tuesday due to adverse weather conditions. Following the incident, the Joint Maritime Information and Coordination Center promptly initiated a rescue operation with support from Maritime Headquarters, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center, and the PMSA.

The operation has seen the deployment of Pakistan Navy aircraft and helicopters, along with PMSA ships and boats, all participating in the ongoing search for the missing fishermen.
