Karachi Adviser Orders Audit and Computerization During Surprise Office Visits

Karachi, In a move to streamline operations and address public grievances, Ehsanur Rehman Mazari, Adviser to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Inter-provincial Cooperation and the Cooperative Department, made unannounced visits to the Registrar Office at Hassan Square and the Audit Office. His visit focused on discussing issues with the public and implementing strategic solutions.

According to Chief Minister Sindh, during his visit, Mazari engaged with citizens who reported problems affecting cooperative societies. He directed the concerned officials, including the secretary and registrar, to prioritize these issues, conduct audits, and produce reports on their findings. Furthermore, Mazari mandated the computerization of all records pertaining to societies to enhance efficiency and transparency. He also announced plans to open a Cooperative Bank to better serve the needs of the community, reflecting his department’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by residents.
