Karachi Development Authority Accelerates Road Construction Projects

Karachi, The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) is intensifying its efforts to complete several road construction projects across the city, including a significant stretch from 4-K Chowrangi to Lyari Nadi Yusuf Goth in Sarjani Town. This initiative is part of a broader campaign to improve urban infrastructure and facilitate smoother travel for residents.

According to Karachi Development Authority, Director General Syed Shujaat Hussain recently reviewed the ongoing construction activities and emphasized the use of high-quality materials and the importance of meeting the project timelines. The road construction, under the supervision of experienced engineers, is being carried out with an emphasis on durability and functionality. Additionally, the project includes the installation of extensive sewage pipelines ranging from 12 to 72 inches in diameter, the establishment of footpaths along the road, and a comprehensive water drainage system to prevent waterlogging during rain.

DG Hussain expressed satisfaction with the progress and instructed the engineering team to further increase manpower and machinery to expedite the completion of these vital infrastructure projects. The development work, funded by the Government of Sindh through the ADP Fund, aims not only to enhance road quality but also to provide essential services like sewage and drainage systems, improving overall urban living standards in Karachi.
