Launches Anti-Polio Campaign to Immunize Children

Loralai: Deputy Commissioner Miran Baloch inaugurated the anti-polio campaign in the district by administering polio drops to children at DHQ Hospital Sabi. Health officers attended the event, marking a significant step in the district’s efforts to combat the disease.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Baloch emphasized the importance of thorough coverage during the campaign, instructing all Unit Charge Medical Officers (UCMOs) to ensure that every child in their respective Union Councils receives the polio vaccine. He called on parents to cooperate fully with polio workers to help eradicate the disease. Baloch reiterated the government’s commitment to eliminating polio and issued specific instructions for officers to closely monitor the campaign to ensure its success in Loralai.
