OGRA Announces Reduction in Petroleum Prices Following Global Decrease

Islamabad, In response to the recent downtrend in global petroleum prices, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a decrease in the consumer prices of Motor Spirit (petrol) and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) effective from June 1, 2024.

According to Press Information Department, the new prices reflect a significant reduction, with petrol decreasing by Rs. 4.74 per liter and diesel by Rs. 3.86 per liter, starting the next fortnight. This adjustment comes as a result of the observed reductions in international market prices over the last fortnight, offering some relief to consumers amidst varying economic conditions.
