Pakistan Day Celebrated at Embassy in Tokyo with Flag Hoisting Ceremony

Tokyo, The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo commemorated Pakistan Day with a dignified flag hoisting ceremony, embracing the essence of national pride and unity among the Pakistani community in Japan. The event featured the recitation of the Holy Quran, the playing of the national anthem, and the reading of messages from Pakistan’s leadership, highlighting the community’s achievements and the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Japan.

According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar led the ceremony, hoisting the national flag to the accompaniment of Pakistan’s national anthem. He conveyed the messages of the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of the day and acknowledging the contributions of Pakistanis residing in Japan. In addition to the ceremony at the embassy, special supplements were published in two of Japan’s leading English-language newspapers, and community groups across Japan organized various gatherings to celebrate Pakistan Day, reflecting the vibrant Pakistani diaspora’s commitment to their homeland and its values.
