Pakistan Finance Minister Stresses Collaboration with UAE Business Council to Boost Trade and Investment

Dubai, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb met with members of the Pakistan Business Council UAE to discuss ways to enhance trade and investment inflows into Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among industry leaders, government agencies, financial institutions, and local stakeholders to forge strategic partnerships that can drive economic growth.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the positive trends in Pakistan’s macroeconomic indicators, noting that ongoing structural reforms and enforcement mechanisms were steering the economy in the right direction. He encouraged the business council members to continue supporting Pakistan’s development by showcasing the country’s business-friendly environment.

The Finance Minister praised the efforts of Pakistani businessmen based in the UAE for promoting Pakistan’s best business practices and creating a conducive environment for investors. He mentioned that areas like information technology, digitalization, climate change, agriculture, and human capital offer promising opportunities for investment.

The meeting underscored the need for strategic partnerships to strengthen Pakistan’s economic ties with the UAE, focusing on sectors with high growth potential.
