Pakistan Government Focuses on Facilitating Investors to Boost Industry and Agriculture

Islamabad, Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanvir Hussain emphasized the government’s commitment to facilitating investors, particularly in the industrial and agricultural sectors, during a meeting with Japanese Ambassador WADA Mitsuhiro. This commitment is part of a strategic effort to attract more foreign investment and bolster economic growth.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in discussions with Ambassador Mitsuhiro, Minister Hussain reiterated the government’s dedication to providing all necessary support to Japanese companies looking to invest in Pakistan. The talks highlighted the pivotal role Japan plays in Pakistan’s auto industry, with hopes expressed for increased Japanese investment across various sectors.

Minister Hussain also underlined the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with Japan, describing it as a vital and valued partnership. The meeting also addressed the challenges faced by Japanese automakers in Pakistan, reflecting a mutual interest in resolving these issues to enhance bilateral trade and investment relations.
