Pakistan Navy’s Mujum-Class Warship PNS Babar Visits Jeddah for Naval Exercise and Diplomatic Talks

Jeddah, In a significant step to bolster maritime cooperation and strengthen diplomatic ties, the Pakistan Navy’s first Mujum-class warship, PNS Babar, recently visited the port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Upon its arrival, the warship was warmly received by high officials from the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and Pakistani diplomatic officials.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Commanding Officer of PNS Babar met with the Deputy Western Fleet Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. The discussions focused on issues of mutual interest including maritime cooperation. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance their naval collaboration and foster strong bilateral relations.

The culmination of the visit was marked by a joint naval exercise between PNS Babar and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces ship HMS Al-Riyadh. This exercise aimed to promote mutual cooperation and demonstrate the strong, friendly ties between the two countries through strategic and tactical naval maneuvers.
