Pakistan to Issue Passports to Overseas Citizens Within 60 Days

Islamabad: In a move aimed at enhancing the welfare of overseas Pakistanis, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has announced that passports for expatriates will now be issued within 60 days. The announcement came during a meeting in Islamabad today, which focused on improving services for citizens living abroad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting included detailed briefings by the Interior Secretary and the Director General of Immigration and Passports. They assured the Deputy Prime Minister that the new timeline for passport issuance is part of a broader initiative to streamline processes and address the needs of the Pakistani diaspora more effectively.
