Pakistan’s Overseas Missions Tasked to Expand Employment Opportunities

Islamabad, The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development is focusing on broadening job opportunities for Pakistani workers abroad through the active engagement of its Community Welfare Attaches.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ministry has tasked its 21 Community Welfare Attaches, positioned globally, to pinpoint and pursue employment opportunities for Pakistanis. Their efforts involve negotiating and finalizing Letters of Intent and agreements with international firms, a key step toward increasing the overseas employment of Pakistani manpower.

The initiative is designed to leverage the attaches’ networks and knowledge of local markets to facilitate better job prospects for Pakistani nationals and enhance their contributions to the country’s economic development through remittances.
