President of IPP Decrys Targeted Violence in Balochistan

Islamabad: President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party and Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan strongly condemned the recent surge of targeted killings in Balochistan, particularly against Punjabi citizens, asserting that such acts of terrorism threaten national unity.

According to Press Information Department, in a statement issued today, Minister Khan denounced the violence as a severe disruption of law and order, orchestrated by elements aiming to sow provincial discord and undermine the state’s stability. He stressed that Pakistan, comprised of four integral provinces, must not be divided by terrorism and provincial hatred.

Minister Khan vowed that the government would take decisive actions to curb the menace of terrorism and safeguard the lives of its citizens. He also honored the sacrifices made by security personnel in combating these terror activities, describing them as heroes who upheld the nation’s dignity with their lives.

The meeting included several party leaders who echoed Minister Khan’s sentiments, expressing solidarity and urging unity against the destructive tactics employed by anti-state groups.
