President Stresses Need to Expand Pakistan’s International Aerial Connections to Boost Tourism and Investment

Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari has called for enhancing Pakistan’s aerial connections with other countries to boost tourism and strengthen people-to-people contacts. During a meeting with a delegation from the Air Asia Aviation Group in Islamabad, President Zardari highlighted the untapped potential of Pakistan’s tourism sector, emphasizing the importance of religious sites and other attractions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Zardari underscored the abundant opportunities for tourism in Pakistan, suggesting that improved international connectivity could significantly contribute to the sector’s growth. He noted that an increase in people-to-people exchanges would encourage tourism and cultural exchanges, providing an impetus for economic growth.

President Zardari urged investors to consider investing in the Pakistan Stock Exchange, pointing out that it offers attractive opportunities. He invited international investors to take advantage of these favorable conditions to stimulate the country’s economy.

The delegation from the Air Asia Aviation Group briefed the president on the group’s activities and its ongoing flight operations. President Zardari expressed interest in further collaboration with the aviation group to broaden Pakistan’s aerial connections and foster increased travel and business ties with other nations.
