Prime Minister Sharif Praises Security Efforts for Peaceful Ashura Observance

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has commended the Pakistan Army, police, and other law enforcement agencies for their exceptional security measures during Ashura, which ensured peace across the country.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a statement released today, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the officers and officials involved in maintaining order during the Ashura commemorations. He highlighted the significant role of the administration, the police, the Pakistan Army, and law enforcement agencies in facilitating the peaceful conduct of Majalis and processions nationwide.

Sharif also acknowledged the contributions of the Federal Interior Minister and the Chief Ministers of all four provinces, applauding their leadership and coordination which played a crucial role in the seamless integration of efforts between the Federation and the provinces. This coordination was pivotal in mobilizing various security forces to maintain peace during this critical period.
