Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Lauds China’s Technological Innovations

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised China’s advancements in science and technology during his visit to Zhongguancun Science Park, often regarded as China’s Silicon Valley. The visit highlighted the potential for increased technological collaboration between Pakistan and China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the dynamic tech start-up culture and the groundbreaking research being conducted at the Science Park. Discussions during the visit focused on fostering partnerships in tech start-ups, research and development centers, and digital infrastructure, which are seen as pivotal for Pakistan’s technological and economic progress.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and other senior officials, Prime Minister Sharif’s engagement at the Science Park underscores the importance of leveraging international expertise to drive innovation and development within Pakistan.
