Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently presiding over a special meeting of the cabinet, focusing on the aftermath of the May 9 tragedy and measures to address its impacts.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar provided insights on the meeting’s agenda, indicating that the cabinet would approve a resolution related to the May 9 events. Additionally, a white paper prepared by the law ministry will be presented.

Minister Tarar emphasized the government’s determination to bring those responsible for the May 9 incidents to justice, reflecting a broad commitment to accountability and legal action against the perpetrators. The cabinet meeting includes representatives from all allied parties, underlining a unified approach to addressing the challenges posed by the events of May 9.
