Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Performs Umrah, Set for Talks with Saudi Crown Prince

Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, after his arrival in Makkah Mukarama from Madina, has performed Umrah, accompanied by key members of the federal cabinet. This religious undertaking comes as part of a broader official visit to Saudi Arabia, where discussions with Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz are anticipated.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, before performing Umrah, Prime Minister Sharif offered Isha prayers and nawafil at Masjid-e-Nabvi and paid respects at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH). During his spiritual journey, he prayed for the progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan, and for the oppressed Muslims in Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The visit also includes high-level talks with Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, focusing on bilateral ties, regional, and global issues, demonstrating the significance of Pakistan-Saudi relations.
