Provincial Advisor Prioritizes Industrial Development in Quetta

Quetta: Mir Ali Hasan Zahri, Provincial Advisor for Industry and Crafts, emphasized the importance of modernizing industries and technical centers to address unemployment and boost the provincial economy during the Jahza meeting.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting, which assessed the performance of the Department of Industries and Crafts, included discussions on strategies to foster economic growth through industry. Zahri highlighted the critical role of skilled labor in the economic backbone of the province and outlined the necessity of enhancing technical training centers to meet contemporary demands.

The advisor also stressed the need for significant changes in the energy sector to support industrial growth and the importance of developing small industries across all districts to positively impact the regional and overall provincial economy. Plans to expand and modernize training centers were also detailed to increase the number of skilled workers in the region.
