Russia Sends Relief Consignment for Flood Affectees

Islamabad: A Russian relief flight reached Karachi Airport at 5:15 pm, carrying tents, dewatering pumps, water purifiers, blankets and food. The Consul General of Russia, Andrey V. Demidov handed over the humanitarian shipment to Director (Operations), PDMA, Sindh, Mr. Sajjad Haider.

On the instructions of the Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Dr. Zafar Qadir, Head Logistics of NDMA, Lt Col (Retd) Muhammad Ali Haider and Liaison Officer NDMA, Lt Col (Retd) Tariq Jan are coordinating all the relief flights.
