Saudi Envoy Remembers King Salman’s 1998 Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad, Saudi Press Attaché Dr. Naif Al-Otaibi recently commemorated the historic visit of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to Pakistan, which took place on April 27, 1998, by sharing memorial photos and highlights of the visit.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Al-Otaibi took to his social media account ‘X’ to reflect on King Salman’s visit, noting the King’s time in Murree and his attendance at a reception held in his honor. He also recounted the King’s visit to the iconic King Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, where he left a message in the visitors’ book. Dr. Al-Otaibi emphasized that King Salman’s visit remains a valued memory and symbolizes the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
