The president has approved the appointment of Ms. Hina Tayyaba

Islamabad: The president has approved the appointment of Ms. Hina Tayyaba, the incumbent Principal of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) as the acting Vice Chancellor of the Institute.

The President of Pakistan, Mr. Asif Ali Zardari in his capacity as the Chancellor of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) has also approved the appointments of members of PIFD’s Senate. The appointed members have been selected against three categories (i) category of persons of distinction from society at large (ii) category of alumni of the Institute and (iii) category of the academic community of the country.

The names of the appointed members are Mr. Farrukh Hussain Sheikh, Ms. Shamail Ansari, Mr. Rizwan Beg, Mr. Nayyer Ali Dada, Mr. K.K. Agha, Mr. Ibne Hassan, Mr. Kamiar Rokni, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, and Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Taj.
