Annual Hif-z-o-Qirat Competition Underway in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony launched its annual Hif-z-o-Qirat competition in Islamabad, inaugurated by Senior Joint Secretary Alamgir Ahmad Khan. This two-day event, which began on Wednesday, features 59 participants from across Pakistan, competing in 10 different categories organized by age group.

According to Press Information Department, the competition is a showcase of the rich religious and cultural heritage of Pakistan, highlighting the skills and devotion of participants in the art of Quranic recitation. The event is set to conclude on Thursday with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners in various categories will be honored for their exemplary performances in this respected religious tradition.
