Avalanche Warning Issued for Four Districts in IIOJK

Srinagar, Authorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have announced an avalanche warning for four districts within the region, urging residents to exercise caution and refrain from entering areas prone to avalanches.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the warning was issued by a spokesperson from the IIOJK Disaster Management Authority, who specified that avalanches of medium danger level are expected above 2400 meters in the Kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Ganderbal districts over the next 24 hours. The advisory calls for people in these districts to take preventive measures and avoid areas known for avalanche occurrences until further notice, aiming to safeguard lives and minimize risk during this period of heightened danger.
