Blood Donation Camp Organized in Islamabad by Saudi Embassy and Pakistan Red Crescent Society

Islamabad: The Saudi Embassy in collaboration with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society organized a blood donation camp in Islamabad on Wednesday. The initiative aimed to bolster the blood supply for medical needs in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the camp was conducted under the Saudi national initiative led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. The event saw participation from several notable figures, including the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid for Pakistan Abdullah Al-Baqami. Officers and staff from the embassy also contributed by donating blood.

Blood donation is recognized as a vital service to humanity, playing a crucial role in supporting patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, managing chronic illnesses, and recovering from traumatic injuries.
