Govt constitutes taskforce on AI to devise roadmap for use in different sectors

Islamabad, June 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): The government has constituted a taskforce on Artificial Intelligence to devise a roadmap for its use in different sectors like health, education, economy and governance. Chairing a meeting in this connection in Islamabad today, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said this taskforce will make recommendation on how Pakistan can benefit from AI to enhance its competitiveness in the international market in different fields. He asked the officials of taskforce to constitute specialized sub-committees for field specific proposal like agriculture, exports, IT, governance and industry.
