Interior Minister Announces New Security SOPs for Chinese Nationals in Pakistan

Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared the upcoming implementation of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at enhancing the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan. This announcement came during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad, where they discussed safety measures and ongoing security concerns following the Bisham incident.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Naqvi expressed a firm stance against any threats to the longstanding Pak-China friendship, vowing to bring the perpetrators of the Bisham incident to justice. He also recounted positive feedback from Chinese consular officials in Karachi and Lahore regarding the current security protocols, which he affirmed would be rigorously upheld and further strengthened under the new SOPs. This initiative underscores Pakistan’s commitment to safeguarding its diplomatic relationships and the individuals who nurture them.
