Interior Minister Visits Frontier Constabulary Headquarters in Peshawar, Peshawar

Peshawar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reaffirmed the government’s commitment to combating terrorism during his visit to the Frontier Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Peshawar. The visit included a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s peace and security, and discussions on enhancing the FC’s operational effectiveness.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi, accompanied by Commandant FC Moazzam Jah Ansari, emphasized the need to bolster the FC as a key force against anti-state elements. He honored the fallen heroes of the FC, laying a floral wreath at the Martyrs Monument and praying for their souls. The Interior Minister underscored the importance of unity in the fight against terrorism, declaring a zero-tolerance policy towards terror groups and their affiliates.

During the visit, Naqvi and FC officials reviewed the force’s performance and strategies. The Minister also participated in a tree planting activity, symbolizing growth and renewal. He pledged ongoing support for the FC, promising to return for progress assessments and ensuring that peace efforts align with the nation’s goals and the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam.
