Jaffarabad Adviser Calls for Urgent Action on Environmental Pollution

Jaffarabad, Provincial Adviser on Environment and Climate Change, Naseemur Rehman Khan Malakhil, has emphasized the urgent need for measures to combat environmental pollution, attributing recent crop damage and adverse weather conditions to climate change effects. During a visit to Jaffarabad, he discussed these concerns with local officials, highlighting the broader global anxiety about climate impacts.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Malakhil spoke with Deputy Commissioner Jafarabad Azhar Shahzad and other officers, where he was briefed on the industrial activities in the district that contribute to environmental degradation. The adviser stressed the importance of curbing practices that exacerbate pollution and called for immediate action against entities responsible for environmental harm.

During his conversations, Malakhil pointed out the challenges posed by the increasing population and the indiscriminate use of fuel, which are major factors in the escalating environmental crisis. He later continued his advocacy by visiting Naseerabad district, where he met with staff and urged them to implement prompt measures to address the pollution issues.
