Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Administrator reviews Bus Rapid Transit Project

Karachi, May 12, 2016 (PPI-OT):KMC Administrator Laeeq Ahmed said bus rapid transit project holds much importance for a city like Karachi therefore any hurdles in its way should be removed and the project completed in the lights of all of its technical, financial, legal and environmental aspects.

He said this in a briefing of the BRT project which was attended by the director general mass transit and Sr. Director T and C Muhammad Ather, Bilal Memon of Karachi Infrastructure Development Company, Deputy Project Director Orange Line S.M Taha, Sr. Director Land Nasir Abbas, Director anti encroachments Mazhar Khan, P.D Surjani Town Muhammad Shehzad, Legal Advisor Jamil Farooqui and other officers. The briefing given on this occasion included the details about the different BRT lines proposed for Karachi.
