LPG prices reduced by Local producers – Alfalah Securities Limited

Karachi, Sep 05, 2011 (PPI): The Local producers of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) have reduced prices of LPG by PkR 2.5 per kg to PkR 112-120 per kg, amounting in a reduction of PkR 2,436 per ton.

According to Alfalah Securities Limited, the Acting Chairman of the All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association has insisted local producers to reduce LPG prices by PkR 2,500 per ton further this month. The increased LPG prices had caused 80% of the public transport to switch their vehicles from LPG to CNG which might result in the closure of LPG business in the country.
