Islamabad, February 13, 2013 (PPI-OT): Federal Secretary, States and Frontier Region, Habibullah Khan here today briefed Federal Minister for SAFRON Senator Abbas Khan Afridi about the working of Ministry of SAFRON here today.
Senator Abbas Khan Afridi chaired the introductory meeting after taking charge as Federal Minister, SAFRON.
The secretary gave a comprehensive briefing about the functions, activities of the Ministry and apprised the minister about the ongoing projects. High ranking officials of the ministry also were present on this occasion.
The minister stressed the need for promoting and uplifting the objectives of the ministry and advised the officials to put together all their efforts for development of the country.
He further expressed the hope that the issue of repatriation of Afghan Refugees will be solved amicably through discussion with all the stakeholders.
He directed the concerned authorities to complete all projects in time and submit report about the incomplete on-going projects in FATA and Afghan Refugees Camps all over the country.
The minister assured the officials of his full support and gave a wake-up call for performing their duties with full devotion, adding that poor performance would not be tolerated.
The secretary and officials of the ministry also assured the minister of their full cooperation in this regard.
