NAB Balochistan Establishes Complaint Office to Address Public Issues, Holds First Open Court

Quetta, The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has established a complaint office at the Deputy Commissioner Office in Quetta to provide citizens with easier access to lodge complaints and seek assistance against corruption. This initiative is part of NAB’s commitment to creating an anti-corruption environment in the province.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, NAB Balochistan held its first Open Court (Khuli Kachehri) at the newly established Complaint Office on 25 April 2024. The event saw a number of complainants present their issues directly to the Director General of NAB Balochistan. The Director General listened to the complaints and issued immediate directions for their resolution.

A significant number of complainants were victims of land mafia schemes and other instances of public cheating. The Director General assured the citizens that NAB Balochistan is committed to addressing their complaints with a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and corrupt practices. He emphasized that the bureau is determined to eradicate corruption in Balochistan and protect the rights and hard-earned money of the public from cheaters and mafias.

The establishment of the complaint office and the Open Court signify NAB Balochistan’s dedication to ensuring transparency and accountability. The bureau aims to encourage citizens to report corruption and seek redress for their grievances in a safe and accessible manner. The open court sessions will continue to be a platform for addressing public complaints and fostering a culture of integrity in the province.
