Islamabad, In a key meeting held in Rawalpindi on Saturday, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir and Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud deliberated on fostering deeper bilateral ties, with a significant focus on defense cooperation. The discussions emphasized the enduring brotherly relations between the two nations and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration across various sectors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Saudi Defence Minister underscored the profound and historical friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, noting that the two countries have consistently supported each other’s aspirations and wellbeing. This meeting marks a continuation of high-level engagements aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership, particularly in defense and security areas.

The visit, which concluded with Prince Khalid bin Salman’s departure from Noor Khan Air Base, where he was seen off by General Munir, signifies the mutual commitment to advancing the defense dialogue and cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reflecting their shared interests and longstanding alliance.
