Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa Marks Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir

Islamabad: The Pakistan High Commission in Ottawa, along with its consulates in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, commemorated Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir to draw attention to the ongoing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Acting High Commissioner Faisal Kakar delivered a video message during the observance, in which he detailed the alleged human rights violations occurring in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. He called upon the international community to acknowledge and address these concerns.

Kakar reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people, emphasizing their resilience and continued struggle for self-determination in the face of what he described as illegal occupation by India.
