Pakistan, Turkey, and Indonesia United Against Islamophobia at New York Event

Islamabad, In a unified display of solidarity, the Consulate Generals of Pakistan, Turkey, and Indonesia hosted an event in New York dedicated to combating Islamophobia. The diplomats called for increased global efforts to promote peace, tolerance, and inter-religious dialogue amidst rising incidents of discrimination and violence against Muslims.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Consul General of Pakistan, Aamer Ahmad, highlighted several concerning examples of Islamophobia, including the situation in Gaza, which he described as indicative of genocidal actions by Israel. He also pointed to the systematic destruction of Muslim religious sites in India and discriminatory policies in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir aimed at changing the region’s demographic balance. The event underscored the need for collective international actions to address these issues and foster a more inclusive and respectful global environment.
