Pakistan’s Naval Chief Briefs President on Maritime Readiness

Islamabad, In a significant meeting today at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, met with President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss the operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy. The briefing highlighted the Navy’s preparedness and capabilities in defending the country’s maritime interests.

According to Press Information Department, Admiral Ashraf congratulated President Zardari on his recent assumption of office and took the opportunity to assure him of the Navy’s robust state of readiness. He emphasized that the Navy is well-equipped to protect Pakistan’s national sea frontiers.

President Zardari praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Navy, recognizing its critical role in safeguarding the maritime interests of the nation. The meeting underscores the ongoing commitment of Pakistan’s leadership to maintain a strong and responsive military presence in its territorial waters.
