Power Minister Demands Swift Action on Transmission Lines Project

Islamabad, In a decisive move to bolster Pakistan’s power infrastructure, Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has issued a strict mandate to relevant authorities for the prompt completion of transmission line projects. During a meeting in Islamabad, the minister highlighted the importance of these projects for the nation’s energy sector and declared that delays would not be tolerated.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Leghari’s instructions come at a critical time as the country seeks to improve its energy distribution capabilities. He called for an immediate evaluation of the distribution companies (DISCOS) to identify and address any significant human resource deficiencies that could impede progress.

Furthermore, Leghari tasked the Power Planning and Monitoring Company (PPMC) with developing proposals for technological advancements within the power sector. The goal is to enhance the efficiency of energy distribution and ensure that consumers benefit from innovative and effective solutions.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen Pakistan’s power sector, focusing on infrastructure development and the integration of modern technologies to meet the growing energy demands of the country.
