Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Begins Official Five-Day Visit to China in Shenzhen

Shenzhen, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Shenzhen today, marking the start of his five-day official visit to China, his first since taking office. The visit aims to deepen economic and technological cooperation between Pakistan and China.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, upon his arrival, the Prime Minister was greeted by Luo Huanghao, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen. Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and other senior cabinet ministers, Sharif’s agenda includes meetings with both the leadership of Guangdong Province and the Shenzhen Municipal Government, as well as executives from leading Chinese companies in the innovation and high-tech sectors. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Pakistan-China Business Conference, an event designed to foster collaboration between business leaders from both nations. The Prime Minister’s visit to Shenzhen, a hub for China’s high-tech industries, underscores the focus on enhancing partnerships in innovative and technology-driven sectors.
