Security Operation in Mastung District Neutralizes Key Terrorists

Mastung: In a targeted operation conducted on the night of August 18-19, 2024, Pakistani security forces engaged and neutralized three terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in Mastung District, following an intense exchange of fire. The operation also resulted in injuries to three additional militants.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the terrorists involved in the operation were linked to numerous acts of terrorism in the region, including the recent assassination of the Deputy Commissioner of Panjgur, Mr. Zakir Ali, on August 12, 2024. The successful military action avenged this killing, bringing the perpetrators to justice and striking a blow against efforts to disrupt peace and stability in Balochistan.

The security forces, aligned with national resolve, continue to demonstrate their commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and progress in the region, thwarting attempts to sabotage the area’s development.
