Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance called on Prime Minister

Islamabad: Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House today and briefed him about the economy and the continuing progress in the key areas such as domestic tax collection which has registered 26% increase during the first half of the current financial year compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

The Prime Minister directed the Advisor on Finance to further consolidate the stabilization of growth of the economy with a view to leading the job creation for the youth.

The Prime Minister gave guidelines to the Advisor regarding the provision of relief to the people in the next Budget.
