Javed Malik welcomes Pakistani healthcare exporters in UAE

Dubai, January 29, 2015 (PPI-OT): Pakistan’s Ambassador at Large Javed Malik visited Arab Health Exhibition to meet and welcome the Pakistani exporters taking part in the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East that is being held in Dubai. While appreciating the Pakistani exporters Ambassador Javed Malik said “it is very encouraging to see Pakistani Entrepreneurs and exporters representing Pakistan in the largest healthcare exhibition in the region as this would pave the way for further expansion our trade.

He pointed out that there was a huge potential to explore new markets for Pakistani medical, surgical, and healthcare related products being manufactured in Pakistan and suggested that the requisite certification from FDA and ISO would open the doors for reaching newer markets.

In this context discussions were also held with the President of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce Fazal Jilani and other delegations members to hold Pakistan specific exhibition in UAE as a regular event I n which noted industry players and buyers would be invited.

The Pakistan Health and Medical Products Expo would be aimed to reach out to the international markets and open the doors for an expansion of the Pakistani products in UAE, the Gulf and the international markets. Ambassador Javed Malik, who was also accompanied by Commercial Counsellor Dr Saeed Qadir Mangi on the occasion, appreciated the role of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in facilitating the traders and businessmen in this regard.

The business delegates led by President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce appreciated the idea to hold a regular Pakistan Heath and Medical Products Expo in UAE as a regular feature and agreed to develop a frame work for its implementation in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Ambassador Javed Malik assured his full cooperation to this initiative.
