Pakistan and UAE to Boost Petroleum Sector Cooperation

Islamabad, In a significant move to strengthen bilateral relations, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to expand their cooperation in the petroleum sector.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the consensus was reached during a meeting in Islamabad between Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik, and the UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi. The discussion focused on matters of mutual interest, emphasizing the longstanding ties between the two nations.

During the meeting, Minister Malik expressed appreciation for the enduring relationship with the UAE, highlighting the mutual benefits of increased collaboration in the energy domain.

The agreement is expected to enhance energy security and economic growth for both countries, aligning with their strategic interests in the region.
