Islamabad, October 20, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Quarter Finals of Chief of Naval Staff International Squash Championship were played today (20 October, 2016) at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad. Detailed results are given below.
1st Quarter Final: In the 1st Quarter Final, World No 28 Mr Omar Abdel Meguid from Egypt defeated World No 96 Mr Youssef Soliman also from Egypt with a game score of 4/11, 11/8, 11/0 and 11/4. The match lasted for 29 Minutes.
2nd Quarter Final: In the 2nd Quarter Final, World No 109 Mr Farhan Mehboob from Pakistan defeated World No 55 Mr Farhan Zaman also from Pakistan with a game score of 11/7, 9/11, 11/5 and 11/7. The match lasted for 36 Minutes.
3rd Quarter Final: In the 3rd Quarter Final, World No 49 Mr Todd Harrity from USA defeated World No 76 Mr Peter Creed from Wales with a game score of 12/10, 11/8 and 11/4. The match lasted for 33 Minutes.
4th Quarter Final: In the 4th Quarter Final, World No 30 Mr Zahed Mohamed from Egypt defeated World No 77 Mr Tayyab Aslam from Pakistan with a game score of 11/7, 11/5, 6/11 and 11/9. The match lasted for 45 minutes.
The Semi Finals would be played on 21 October, 2016 with the following fixture:-
1. 1st Semi Final (1500 Hrs) Omar Abdel Meguid Vs Farhan Mehboob
2. 2nd Semi Final (1600 Hrs) Todd Harrity Vs Zahed Mohamed
