Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah took note of sale of Artificial and Sub-standard inputs to growers

Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has taken notice of sale of fake varieties of agriculture commodities and artificial / sub-standard pesticides in various areas of the province of Sindh particularly in Kot Ghulam Muhammad with the result, the standing crop on thousands of acres has been damaged.

He has directed the Secretary Agriculture Sindh to hold enquiry of the incident and effective action be taken against involved agencies and shopkeepers. He has further directed that it must be ensured that genuine inputs, are provided to the growers. He has further asked from Secretary Agriculture Department, that where is staff of agriculture department, who may have proper vigilance and they should control the use of sub-standard and artificial inputs to the growers.
